the next Pub Evening

The Pub Evening planned for Saturday 28 November 2009 has been postponed. It turns out that it was too near to Christmas and there are other events conflicting with it. We apologise to those who had planned to attend; it will be held early in 2010. Watch this space.

This site has been created to support the campaign to re-open the Horseshoe Inn at Brooms Green in Gloucestershire which was closed after 200 years of business. The "Horseshoe Inn Companions" was formed by a group of interested people who object to the closing of the pub and who, with the support of CAMRA, are campaigning to ensure the long-term future of the Horseshoe Inn as a public house.

2009 planning application

In September 2009, the Tweedales made a new planning application to change the use of the Horseshoe Inn from a pub to a private house. See here for details.
